• It is well-known the act of charity can be a rewarding and satisfying act. However, what makes TNF stand out from a long line of organisations, is its emphasis on social and economic impact.

We do more

Charitable Initiatives

This page will list all the charitable initiatives and show a photo or video for each one. If needed we can create a unique page for each one.

Education

Wings to Fly

The “Wings to Fly” Scholarship provides the brightest yet most socially marginalized and economically disadvantaged children in Kenya with access to education through academic scholarships, as well as leadership training and mentorship.

School

Kibera REC School

We believe that education is key to breaking and reversing the cycle of poverty. Moreover, TNF has focused its efforts within Africa’s largest slum on education by supporting and sponsoring the slum’s best performing school, the REC School.

Care & Support

Angel Center for Abandoned Children

Located in Limuru, Kenya, the Angel Center for Abandoned Children is dedicated towards rescuing babies that are abandoned at hospitals, thrown by the roadside, dumped in trash bins or left at churches.

Safe Haven

Sheikh Mabarak Orphanage

In a remote village outside of Mombasa, the Sheikh Mabarak Mohammad Al Nahayan Orphanage, has over 100 orphans and 2 full-time staff, who are all fully supported by TNF with food, lodging and other provisions like mattresses, toys, clothes, and books.

Imprint The Soul

Skechers Foundation

In 2017, The Nourafchan Foundation (TNF) and the Skechers Foundation collaborated to improve and save lives of at risk youth by providing 200 shoes donated by Skechers to children based in Kibera, Nairobi, Kenya (Africa’s largest slum). These unique light up shoes provide life-changing assistance and unquantifiable joy to many children who have never owned a new pair of shoes.
